With over 40 years’ experience in private dining and event catering, we are proud to introduce ‘The Oxford Hog Roast Company”.
We source only locally reared, free-range hogs, hogget’s (when in season), lambs, chickens, pork and lamb joints (for smaller functions) and any combination thereof. Our free-range, grass-fed steak is aged until it is melt in the mouth tender, then cooked and carved for you from our lava rock flame grill. Our venison and game birds are shot locally by gamekeepers who we know personally.
We will happily produce a bespoke menu for your event, including drinks on arrival and throughout, canapés, side dishes and seasonal salads, the main event followed by decadent home-made desserts.
Please don’t be shy, let us know your thoughts and we will do our absolute utmost to accommodate your requests. We will provide a chef or chefs depending on the size of your event along with waiting staff who will happily assist your guests during service. Arriving at a suitably appropriate time in order to cook your requested menu to perfection we will quietly set up our equipment, gazebos and linen dressed tables along with serving platters and utensils. Our chef or chefs will cook and carve your food whilst our waiting staff assist your guests during your specified service time. Once everyone is served and happily enjoying themselves, we will discreetly clear away any refuse, dismantle our equipment and quietly leave you to enjoy the rest of your event. Any excess food can either be left with you or cleared and taken away for appropriate disposal.
